A Little Bit of Somethin'

It's another super awesome Copycat Thursday!  Hurrah!  I may not look too pleased about it in this photo, but I assure you I am.


The above look is an idea I got from my newest blogger find...
Ms. Moy of Moy's Fashion Life: Classic and Chic.  She is smashing in her dressy version of chambray, right?  You have to go see her post to see the casual version of this look!

We all know how this goes with me though, right?  My skirt is longer than hers, so I switched up my shoes.  I had pearls instead of rhinestones, but I think the look is just the same.  AND... I required a belt.  As you can see, the belt makes all the difference for me!




It even earned a smile for the camera!  AMAZING to me how something as simple as a belt can change the way a an entire outfit works on the body--even if it is just an illusion.  It gives this outfit just that little bit of somethin' that it needed.

    I love the mix of the casual chambray with a fancy skirt...perfect balance! And love how you added the necklace under the color. Super cute as always!

    Is that skirt from Target? If so, you're the second person I've seen wearing it today and now I want it for myself!! It looks great with everything!

      Nope...believe it or not, it is Forever21 (which is sort of sick since I am more than double that number!). It was clearance and a 50% special so I paid less than $5 for it. It really is a great skirt!

      NO, no Moy!! Your outfit was great! Your skirt had a nice waistband that mine lacked, I don't think you needed a belt! I hope that my post didn't make it sound like I thought your outfit was missing something, as that was SOOO not my intent. I thought it was great, and that's WHY I copied it!!!
