What struck me first about her outfit was of course, the shoes! Killer, amirite? But I stepped back and noticed the lace top paired with what looks possibly like a leather jacket and thought to myself that I have everything in my closet to recreate this look--minus the shoes and the pop of color scarf. So, you know, the important things that make the outfit. Anyhoo, here is where I landed.
Because I didn't have those pops of color, I purposely chose to stay all in basics and I like the end effect. On a side note...those booties hurt like Hades and I will not wear them to anything more than a sit down dinner! LOL. Good thing I didn't pay a whole lot for them.
XO,
Alyssa
Oh, I love Kendi! And I love your interpretation too. I love the black on black on black, it's one of my favorite looks to wear because of how slimming it is.
ReplyDeleteYou look great, yet again, friend! xo
Thanks Carly!!!
DeleteKendi should copy your version to, and if she don't, I will! You look fab!
ReplyDeleteAw, Anna thank you!!!! ;o)

Hey, no problem Monica! I read your blog regularly, but only have time to comment occasionally! Must be nice to have a handy husband. Mine prefers to pay someone else to do the work!! ;o)
DeleteAlyssa,

ReplyDeleteI love Kendi and her style--and you pulled it off so well! I really need a lace shirt now... :) Thanks for linking up with us again! I love seeing your outfits.
ReplyDeleteYes, you did pull that off well. The necklace is a nice switch for the scarf. And I have a co-dependent relationship with a pair of killer booties too! (=. Lynaea @ EverydayBloom.com
